India's total of 249/5 against West Indies is their highest against them, surpassing the previous best of 244 in Lauderhill in 2016, which India lost by one run.
The match aggregate of 501 runs in 38.3 overs is the second-highest in a T20 game, with the top spot held by the South Africa vs West Indies match in Centurion in 2023, which saw 517 runs.
Shai Hope struck a century off just 45 balls, the second-fastest for West Indies in men's T20s, after Johnson Charles's 39-ball century against South Africa in 2023. Boundaries accounted for 382 runs in the match, the third-most in T20 history. West Indies hit 204 runs in boundaries, their highest in an innings and the second-most by any team in a run chase, behind Bulgaria's 214 against Gibraltar in 2025.
Hope now has both centuries by a wicketkeeper-captain in T20s. He scored an unbeaten 102 against Australia in Basseterre last year and followed it with an unbeaten 162 in an ODI in New Chandigarh just six days ago, the highest by a wicketkeeper-captain. His six-day gap between an ODI score of 150+ and a T20 century is the shortest for any batsman.
West Indies hit 20 sixes against India, the second-most against them in T20s, after their 21 in Lauderhill in 2016. This is the fourth time they have hit at least 20 sixes in a match. The partnership of 120 runs between Hope and Sherfane Rutherford is West Indies' highest for the fourth wicket in men's T20s and their second-highest for any wicket from the fourth onward, behind Rutherford's 139-run stand with Andre Russell for the sixth wicket against Australia in 2024.

Sanju Samson's 82 and Hope's unbeaten 102 added up to 184 runs by wicketkeepers, the second-highest combined tally by wicketkeepers in a T20 match, after 188 in Bulgaria vs Serbia in 2022. This is also the first time two wicketkeepers have scored 80 or more in the same T20.
