Eight architects from five firms have been named Singapore's most notable architecture professionals under 40 for 2026 by Singapore Business Review. The honourees, five of whom are women, have worked on projects ranging from a $790 million hotel to Singapore's first fully integrated healthcare campus.
The list includes three architects from DP Architects, two from SAA Architects, and one each from RSP Architects Planners & Engineers, CPG Consultants, and Chang Architects. Their portfolios span healthcare, civic infrastructure, retail, hospitality, and heritage conservation.
Jacqueline Tjen, 30, of DP Architects, worked on Dairy Farm Residences & Dairy Farm Mall, a $125 million, 460-unit integrated development with views of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. She also contributed to The Verandah Residences, a $37 million, 170-unit low-rise development. She is a core member of DP Architects' residential typology group.
Siqi Zhang, 31, of RSP Architects Planners & Engineers, worked on the i12 Katong Major A&A, a $30 million-plus revitalisation delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic. As Project Architect on West Mall's $40 million-plus redevelopment, she led design development and technical coordination. She has been with RSP since 2019.
Chung Yen Ling, 30, of CPG Consultants, was Design/Project Architect on Lentor Health Nursing Home (West Coast) and Lentor Health Nursing Home (Macpherson). She mentors young architects and is involved in BIM coordination at CPG's Integrative Wellness Studio.
Melissa Tsang Hiu Ching, 34, of Chang Architects, worked on Maple House, a $1.5 million-$2 million Singapore home that preserved its original single-storey character. She also worked on Moongate House and the Low-Resolution Pavilion for Singapore Design Week 2025. She co-founded spatial design practice Nous Nous.
Liao Muqiong, 35, of SAA Architects, was responsible for design execution, project management, and delivery on The Chevrons clubhouse redevelopment. She managed Pei Chun Public School's redevelopment and is Superintending Officer Rep on the Goh Keng Swee Centre for Education, a 30-storey office tower under construction. She has also led remodelling works at Changi General Hospital and the design and delivery of the JS4 and JS5 MRT stations.
Tan Wen Jun, 36, of DP Architects, led design development for One Punggol's Regional Library and community spaces. At The Greenhouse at Dulwich College, a net-zero facility, she led passive design and façade optimisation. She contributes to DP Architects' research groups and is a guest critic at NUS.
Kelvin Ng Si Hoa, 38, of SAA Architects, played a key role in the design and delivery of Woodlands Hospital, Singapore's first healthcare campus to fully integrate an acute hospital, community hospital, medical centre, and nursing home. The project was shortlisted at the 2024 World Architecture Festival and received a Merit Award at the 2025 CREDAWARD. He also worked on Lentor Health Nursing Home and the ongoing Tengah General and Community Hospital. He joined SAA Architects in 2018 and mentors architects through SAA's Professional Practice Examination Candidate Development Programme.
Loh Zhu Ping, 38, of DP Architects, worked on design resolution, project management, and cost control for Funan Redevelopment, a $450 million vertically integrated development. He also worked on Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre, a $790 million hotel that is the Mercure brand's largest property worldwide and Singapore's first full concrete PPVC hotel. At The Cathay A&A, a $70 million heritage repositioning, he handled design resolution and stakeholder coordination.
